Our goal is a better life for everyone affected by mental illness. See how we make a difference
We want to make sure the ideas and opinions of our members are heard and represented at all levels of the organisation. To make sure this happens we have 8 Regional Committees, each made up of 12 volunteer members. They support our work regionally by ensuring our members and people who use our services remain at the centre of everything we do.
Across the country our Regional Committees are working hard to ensure we do all we can to support people with mental illness. In this short film, our London Regional Committee meet for an away day and share how they first got involved with Rethink Mental Illness and why they think volunteering on their committee is so important.
We are always keen to hear from enthusiastic, committed people with an interest in mental illness who would like to get more actively involved in our work. You may be someone who has lived experience, has cared for someone with those experiences, or have a professional interest in mental illness - either way we’d be delighted to hear from you!
