Our son Stephen, known as 'Macky' to his friends, was clever, witty and talented – his work colleagues said ‘he made our days so much brighter’. He was also a Karate black belt and had been chosen to train as a member of the JKS England Squad. Unfortunately he suffered periods of depression, anxiety and low self-esteem which led him to take his own life in May 2015.
