Members' Day 2024

Saturday 16 November at Regent's Park Holiday Inn, London and online.

We're excited to share that we are holding Members' Day this year in November on a hybrid basis. National Members’ Day is our bi-annual day for all members to hear inspiring speakers from across the mental health sector, find out more about our work as a charity and to meet and spend valuable time with other members.

This year's theme is Culture, diversity and the intersection with mental health.

Day timings and agenda

In person attendance: 10am-4pm

Online attendance: tbc

We have a full and interesting day planned for you, with a good mix of presentations and discussions, as well as plenty of opportunities to meet and get to know other members and share experiences.

In the morning we'll be joined by our keynote speaker, Professor Femi Oyebode who will present his talk 'Memoirs of the Mind in Disquiet'.

In the middle of the day we'll host our first ever panel discussion and Q&A. The panel will explore our theme of Culture, diversity and the intersection with mental health. We're not hosting the AGM at Members' Day this year so the panel discussion has replaced this section of the day.

In the afternoon we'll host a workshop for members to attend with a choice of two different themes. One of these workshops will be hosted by Dr Zoe Swithenbank who will share research findings on different treatment pathways for people with co-occurring mental health and alcohol problems, drawing on involvement of people with lived experience.

Amongst all this we’ll present the winners of our Pringle and Janey Antoniou awards and have a fantastic ‘marketplace’ with stands to learn more about the wide variety of our work.
