We support people to achieve personal goals, offer emotional and practical support with day-to-day living, and help develop skills to live independently in the community in order to build a meaningful quality of life as defined by them.     Gloster Road is a supported living service providing accommodation with support commissioned by Devon Partnership Trust NHS and Devon County Council. We have a friendly, mixed-gender team of Mental Health Recovery Workers who provide 1:1 support to our clients, as well as hosting various group activities and outings. This service is a support and enabling, mental health specific service, providing recovery support to our clients with a goal of moving on to independence within 2 years. We also offer spaces on our Community Outreach team so that clients can continue to be supported in their own homes where needed, with a view to gradually reduce support hours as support needs change. Our staff teams are interlinked, and support planning is carried out in the same way, meaning consistency from one service to the other.

  • Salisbury Supported Housing

    Salisbury Supported Housing, Sydney House is a large Victorian house on the edge of Salisbury City Centre. Sydney House is a low to medium-supported housing scheme for adults with mental health issues. Service users receive up to 10 hours of support a week from Mental Health Recovery Workers to help them work towards moving independently into the community through Homes4Witlshire. Specific person-centered goals tailored to the individuals’ needs are worked towards to support moving independently within a 2-year tenancy. Nine service users have their own rooms and share a large communal area, kitchen, and laundry room. Staff and service users arrange activities in the house, and out in the community. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere in the service where people who have been unwell are supported to gain the skills needed to have a fulfilling and meaningful life. We offer hope and compassion for a positive future for those we work with. The service offers between six- and twelve-weeks outreach support at two hours a week where needed after moving on. Service hours are 9 – 5pm weekdays and bank holidays.
