Wiltshire Mental Health Inclusion Service
Community support
The Rethink Mental Illness Wiltshire Mental Health Inclusion Service provides a community mental health service for those in Wiltshire. It is to help support you if you are feeling isolated or lonely due to your mental health and create opportunities of growth to access your local community. The service is jointly funded by Wiltshire Council and the Wiltshire Commissioning Group.
We offer one-to-one support tailored to your needs, helping you to overcome mental health barriers to being involved and included in your local community. With this direct support you will be allocated an Inclusion Coach who will provide emotional and practical support towards a focused goal. With a gradual, step-by-step approach the aim will be to help you access community services and/or help you get involved with your community.

Example opportunities for the service currently are: Peer Support Volunteers and/or Volunteer Group Facilitators (providing help at activities), Digital Tech Buddies (helping people get online) and Travel Volunteers (supporting people to access public transport).
