Protect Mental Health Funding
Seventeen charities and organisations have written to the Prime Minister, urging clarity on mental health funding commitments amid fears that key safeguards are at risk.
Today, we are asking you to add your voice alongside ours.
The letter highlights concerns that losing these safeguards could undermine vital government promises, such as reforming the Mental Health Act and achieving parity between physical and mental health care.
With just under two million adults in contact with mental health services and one in five young people experiencing a probable mental health disorder, services are struggling to keep up with rising demand.
Many people are left stranded on waiting lists, leading to time out of work or education, suicide attempts, and devastating crises that require long hospital stays.
Now is the time to act! Mental health services need our support more than ever. Let’s not lose these vital funding commitments.
Email your MP today to make your voice heard. Together, we can ensure that mental health remains a priority.
