Carers Week: 8–14 June
We know that caring for someone living with a mental illness can be overwhelming.
It often means being someone's main source of emotional and practical support, while trying to keep on top of your own work, family life, and wellbeing. Too often, society doesn't care for the carers - leaving them feeling overlooked.
Many people don’t even think of themselves as carers at first. But at Rethink Mental Illness, we’re here for you. We offer clear advice, practical information, local support and the chance to connect with others who understand what it’s really like.
This Carers Week, we’re shining a light on the need for more carer-friendly communities. With the right support, carers can feel seen, valued and supported.
Join us by sharing our stories online and by visiting our extensive carers hub for more information especially designed for carers.
