  • Derby City Sustainable Living Scheme

    The service comprises of three elements: long-term and short-term accommodation, and tenancy support. The long-term housing service has 6 self-contained flats at our site in Derby City. The site includes a large Communal Area. Tenants receive up to 10 hours support per week depending on need. This is available weekdays 9am-5pm. This short-term supported housing has 6 properties providing up to 18 months support to people with a mental health and homeless background. Our Tenancy Support helps individuals in their own homes and runs weekdays 9am- 5pm. 10 hours of support, depending on need, are provided per person and covers Derby City.

  • Salisbury Supported Housing

    Salisbury Supported Housing, Sydney House is a large Victorian house on the edge of Salisbury City Centre. Sydney House is a low to medium-supported housing scheme for adults with mental health issues. Service users receive up to 10 hours of support a week from Mental Health Recovery Workers to help them work towards moving independently into the community through Homes4Witlshire. Specific person-centered goals tailored to the individuals’ needs are worked towards to support moving independently within a 2-year tenancy. Nine service users have their own rooms and share a large communal area, kitchen, and laundry room. Staff and service users arrange activities in the house, and out in the community. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere in the service where people who have been unwell are supported to gain the skills needed to have a fulfilling and meaningful life. We offer hope and compassion for a positive future for those we work with. The service offers between six- and twelve-weeks outreach support at two hours a week where needed after moving on. Service hours are 9 – 5pm weekdays and bank holidays.

  • Rethink Advice and Information Service

    Our Advice Service gives practical advice to adults living in England who are affected by mental illness. We advise people with a mental health problem, their friends, families and carers. We advise professionals who may want to know more about mental illness and how they can support the person they are working with. The Advice Service are expertly trained in a range of issues, including; mental health conditions, access to care and treatment, different medications and treatments, individual rights under the Mental Health Act, social care, and welfare benefits. We give advice to carers about their rights and how they can support the person they care for. Calls to our Advice Service cost the same as when you call a local number. You can e-mail or write to us for advice and we aim to respond within 3 working days.

  • Sheffield Crisis House

    The Sheffield Crisis House provides short term support to individuals experiencing acute mental health crisis. The service is accessible to adults aged 18 and above, and has 6 beds with communal areas such as kitchen, lounge, and garden. The service is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days a week and staff work in partnership with Sheffield Health and Social Care. Individuals can seek emotional support and guidance throughout their crisis and utilise staff to help develop or re-engage with coping strategies, and daily activities. Support is always person-centred and designed to improve the safety and wellbeing of the individual. Referrals to the Crisis House can be made via community mental health teams (CMHTs) and directly from Liaison Psychiatry at the hospital. We do not accept self-referrals, but support is available via the Rethink Emotional Support Helpline. Please see the number below
